Step 4: Choosing Items to Restore
Identities to restoreThe list of identities allows you to choose which identities will be restored from the backup file. To restore an identity, select it and choose items for this selected identity. You should choose items for each identity separately. If you do not want to restore an identity, uncheck its checkbox. You must choose at least one identity to restore, otherwise an error message will be shown and the wizard will not allow you to proceed to the next step of the restoring procedure. Items to restoreEmail/News Messages: If this checkbox is checked, the wizard will restore Outlook Express email and news messages from the backup file. Accounts: If this checkbox is checked, the wizard will restore Accounts from the backup file. Address Book: If this checkbox is checked, the wizard will restore the Address Book from the backup file. Message Rules: If this checkbox is checked, the wizard will restore Message Rules from the backup file. Blocked Senders: If this checkbox is checked, the wizard will restore the Blocked Senders List from the backup file. Signatures: If this checkbox is checked, the wizard will restore Signatures from the backup file. Some items may be disabled if the backup file does not contain them. You must choose at least one item to restore, otherwise an error message will be shown and the wizard will not allow you to proceed to the next step of the restore procedure.
