Step 5: Choosing Where to Restore the Messages
Restore the messages directly to Outlook Express: Causes the wizard to erase your current email and news messages and replace them with the messages from the backup file. Use this option if none of your target identities in Outlook Express contains important messages. Extract the messages to a temporary folder: Causes the wizard to extract the messages to a temporary folder. Use this option if you want to append the backed-up messages to your Outlook Express database. You can enter the path to the temporary folder manually or by clicking the Browse button. By default, the wizard creates a My Messages folder on your desktop but you can extract your messages to any folder you like.
