You don't need to know a thing about the internals of Outlook Express—the
wizard will guide you through the backup process steps. Click the images
below to enlarge them.
1. Backup or restore.
Outlook Express Backup Wizard will help you create a complete backup
copy of your Outlook Express. In the event of a crash, you will
always be able to restore your emails, address book and other important
data from the backup file.
2. Choosing items to backup.
The wizard can backup all Outlook Express data, including multiple
identities, email messages, attachments, accounts, address book,
message rules, blocked senders, and signatures.
3. Choosing a backup filename.
By default, the wizard composes the filename from the current date,
but you can enter any filename you want. The wizard lets you protect
your backup file with a password.
4. Work completed!
Don't forget to save your backup file to a reliable medium like
CDR or removable drive to secure your data.
